and Nelson Sample will go to PLASCORE by Aug. 20th to discuss their QC/QA
system and the options available to optimize the panel cost.

Lab 8 Setup and Production Readiness;
Panel Lifting and Handling Equiment YP
Yuri described a floor plan for the production in Lab 8. He will also explore the "vacuum lifter" to pick-up panels. Some of these lifters have been used at FNAL, and he will contact the appropriate people to see if they can be re-used. He will also be in contact with Great Lakes, a company the provide vacuum lifters. PPD will probably assume responsability for these lifters, and that has to be agreed on a MOU. He mentioned a 6k$ laser-head for the Axxion machine that could allow us to make quick scans for the tickness measurement of the panels.

The SOW for MP9 occupancy has been setup. Dave claims the Wire Winding machine will be ready after September 8th. A trailer will be used to provide office space.

Status of Cosmic Test Stand Design and
Lab 7 space.

The design of the cosmic ray setup is
converging. Pending final safety review, it will be realeased to UF and
UCLA. From a private discussion with Andrei, the respective universities
will procure and assemble the cosmic stands.
